  My Pay No Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain Moment...

  this is my first post.

  i am physically in and mentally out.

  well i will not be offering a tl/dr version as that would be too difficult and it would also be an oversimplification of how i got to see the man behind the curtain.. my story begins at the 2016 regional convention of jehovah's witnesses.

  In many ways it's same old, same old when it comes to higer ups drinking. When I was a kid we always had D.O's and C.O's stay at my parents house and you should have seen all the booze they drank. The last congregation I left from there was a real problem with a X-C.O. and his wife with drinking. When beer thrity came around every afternoon they had a drink in there hand. Drinking until they could not hold their glass. It's all the Cult gives them so what do you expect. It's not that I am excusing them but a couple of belts everyday keeps them going. Lol.   I dont understand why KH's are less attractive than churches

  if they call themselves the "true", then why are most kingdom halls not as attractive as churches and dont do any better?.

  The wt. Is a doomsday religion. They teach everyone except them is going to be killed by their God. While other religions teach all can be saved and go to heaven, have social programs and have fun holidays. There is nothing fun or social help going on in the borg. Nothing but fear and hate for others who are not them. Still Totally ADD

  I got to give a speech at the University of Louisville today about JWs and Propaganda

  today my wife and i went to college.

  although not allowed to go to college as jws we got to lead a class today and it was really special to be able to do that.

  the class was an honors class on social media and psychology and i created a presentation around the propaganda and manipulation used against us as jws.

  when i post i try to imagine that i am at a social gathering or sometimes in someone's house as a dinner guest.

  that way it is easier to follow the community guidelines and posting rules set out on the site at the bottom of the page.

  i wouldn't want to make a fool of myself in public.

  It has change in the last few years. I don't mind the political talk but what does bother me is the name calling or deragatory remarks of those who don't share their views. I expect that from the borg but this is a place where all for the most part came out of the wt. Cult. This is the unity we all share but it seems for some to bully others into their viewpoint is the new way to vent their anger. It does sadden me sometimes this is what is happening but maybe this is the evolution of a internet fourm. The good thing is it is spring and gardening season has started. Yeah! Still Totally ADD
